Stove sparking or smell of burning? Stop using it, switch it off at the wall, and call us. A sparking electric hob is a live electrical fault.

Gas hob? This page is for electric

This page covers electric, induction and ceramic cooktops. If yours runs on gas, our gas stove repair page is the right one. Not sure which you have? Send a photo on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you.

Electric & induction faults we fix today

One cooking zone won’t heat — on a ceramic hob, a failed radiant element; on induction, a coil or power-module fault. A single dead zone is usually a same-visit fix.

All zones dead at once — almost always the control board rather than the elements. We test to confirm before replacing anything expensive.

Induction not detecting the pot — a coil or sensor fault, or unsuitable cookware. We check the cheap cause first.

Error code on the display — every brand codes faults differently. Send us the code on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you what it means before we come out.

Touch panel unresponsive — a failed control module or moisture ingress. Common after an over-enthusiastic clean.

Cracked ceramic or glass top — replaced, not patched, because a crack lets liquid reach live parts beneath. We source and fit replacement tops for most brands.

Overheating or cutting out mid-cook — a blocked cooling fan or failing thermostat. On induction, often just a dust-clogged fan, which is a cheap outcome.

Induction hobs are electronics, not elements

An induction cooktop has no heating element — it has coils and a power board switching at high frequency. That means most induction faults are electronic, and diagnosis is board-level work rather than swapping a part. It also means ventilation matters: induction tops shut down if the cooling fan is dust-blocked, which in Dubai happens more than you’d expect. Sometimes the fix is a clean, not a new board — and we’ll tell you that rather than sell you the expensive repair.

What it costs

We don’t publish a fixed price list, because quoting before seeing the fault is guesswork. A single radiant element or a thermostat is the cheap end. A touch-control module is mid-range. An induction power board or a ceramic top replacement is the expensive end. You get a realistic range on the phone and a fixed quote after diagnosis — nothing is charged until you approve it.

Frequently asked questions

Can you repair induction hobs? Yes. Induction faults are usually electronic rather than mechanical, so diagnosis is board-level. Some shutdown faults turn out to be a dust-blocked cooling fan — a much cheaper outcome.

My electric hob is sparking — is it safe? No. Stop using it and switch it off at the wall. Sparking is a live electrical fault. We attend these as a priority and repair safely the same day.

Can you replace a cracked ceramic glass top? Yes, for most brands and sizes — a cracked top must be replaced, not repaired, because liquid can reach live parts beneath it. Send us the brand and model for a quote.

How much does electric stove repair cost in Dubai? It depends on the fault and the part. We give a range on the phone and a fixed quote after diagnosis, approved before any work starts.

Do you provide a warranty? Yes — 90 days on parts and labour. If the same fault returns within that period, we come back and fix it free.
