Dryer Repair Services in Dubai

Tumble dryers work harder in Dubai than most people realise, because they are often installed in unventilated laundry rooms or on balconies where ambient temperatures are already high. Naveed Electronics repairs vented, condenser and heat-pump dryers as well as the drying side of washer-dryer combos, across Dubai, usually in a single visit.

Common faults

What is yours doing?

Find your symptom below. Each one tells you the usual cause, so you know roughly what you are dealing with before you call.

Drum turns but there is no heat

The heating element or the thermal cut-out has failed. The cut-out usually trips because of a blocked filter or vent, so we check airflow before fitting parts.

Clothes still damp after a full cycle

Restricted airflow from a clogged lint filter, blocked condenser unit, or a kinked vent hose. Also a classic symptom of a failed moisture sensor.

Burning smell during the cycle

Lint accumulated against the heating element. Stop using the dryer — this is the most common cause of appliance fires and needs attention immediately.

Loud squealing, grinding or rumbling

Worn drum rollers, a failing belt tensioner, or a seized motor bearing. Cheap to fix early, expensive once the drum is damaged.

Dryer stops mid-cycle

Overheat protection tripping repeatedly, usually from restricted airflow. Some models also stop on a door-switch fault.

Water on the floor around a condenser dryer

The condensate tank is not draining, the pump has failed, or the container seal has perished.

In detail

Dryer Repair Services in Dubai — what actually goes wrong

Airflow is almost always the real problem

Most dryer faults trace back to restricted airflow. Lint blocks the filter, then the secondary filter, then the condenser unit or the vent hose. The machine cannot shed heat, the thermal cut-out trips to protect it, and you get either no heat or a cycle that stops early. Fitting a new element without clearing the airflow path means the new element will fail the same way. We clear the whole path as part of the repair.

Lint and fire risk — take a burning smell seriously

Lint is extremely flammable and accumulates against the heating element in vented and condenser dryers. A burning smell during a cycle is not something to run one more load through. Stop using the machine and have it opened and cleaned. We strip and clean the interior as part of any heat-related dryer repair, which is often the single most valuable thing we do on that visit.

Vented, condenser or heat-pump — different faults

A vented dryer pushes hot moist air out through a hose, so its faults cluster around the vent, the element and the thermostat. A condenser dryer collects moisture into a tank, so it adds a condenser unit, a pump and a tank seal to the list. A heat-pump dryer uses a refrigerant circuit, runs at lower temperature, and brings compressor and sealed-system faults into play. Telling us which you have when you call means we arrive with the right parts.

Where the dryer is installed matters in Dubai

A dryer in a closed laundry room or an enclosed balcony is recirculating hot air it has just expelled, so it never reaches its efficiency and the overheat protection trips more often. If we find that at your property we will say so, because relocating or venting properly will do more for the machine than any part we could fit.

Pricing

What the repair will cost

We do not publish a fixed price list, because quoting a number before seeing the fault would be guesswork. Here is what actually moves the price, so you can judge whether a quote you are given is fair.

  • Which part failedThe single biggest factor. Sensors, switches, seals and elements are inexpensive. Compressors, motors and control boards are not, because the part itself costs a lot.
  • Genuine or compatible partOriginal manufacturer parts cost more and last longer. Where a genuine part is discontinued we tell you and let you decide.
  • Home visit or workshopMost repairs finish at your home in one visit. Bench work adds collection and return, which we quote up front.
  • Built-in or freestandingIntegrated units fitted into cabinetry take longer to remove and refit correctly, which adds labour time.
  • Age of the applianceIf a repair would cost more than about half the price of a new unit, we tell you to replace it instead. We would rather lose the job than sell you a bad one.

For tumble dryers, a thermal cut-out, belt, door switch or a full lint strip-clean is at the cheap end and resolves a large share of no-heat faults. A heating element, drum rollers or a condensate pump is mid-range. Motors and, on heat-pump models, sealed-system faults are the expensive end.

How it works in practice: you get a realistic range on the phone, then a fixed quote after diagnosis. Nothing is opened, ordered or charged until you approve that figure.

Questions

Dryer Repair Services in Dubai — answered

My dryer runs but the clothes stay wet.

That is an airflow or heat problem. Start by cleaning the lint filter and, on a condenser model, the condenser unit behind the lower panel. If it persists, the heating element, thermal cut-out or moisture sensor has failed and we can replace it.

There is a burning smell from my dryer — is that dangerous?

Yes, treat it seriously. It is usually lint that has built up against the heating element, and it is the most common cause of dryer fires. Stop using the machine and call us to have it opened and cleaned.

Do you repair heat-pump dryers?

Yes. Heat-pump models use a refrigerant circuit rather than a simple element, so they can develop compressor and sealed-system faults as well as the usual airflow issues. We repair all three dryer types.

Why does my dryer keep stopping mid-cycle?

Almost always overheat protection tripping because airflow is restricted. Clearing the filter, condenser and vent path resolves most cases; if the cut-out itself has failed it needs replacing.

How often should a tumble dryer be cleaned out?

Clean the lint filter after every load, and have the interior stripped and cleaned professionally about once a year in Dubai — more often if the dryer is in an enclosed space.

Do you repair the drying side of a washer-dryer combo?

Yes. Combination machines can have washing faults, drying faults or both, and we diagnose and repair either side.
