One burner will not light, the others do
That burner's electrode or jet is the problem, not the whole stove. Usually a soiled electrode or a blocked jet — a same-visit fix.
No spark on any burner
The ignition module or its power supply has failed. On built-in hobs this is often a loose connection behind the unit.
Flame lifts off or roars
Gas pressure is too high for the jet fitted, or the burner cap is seated wrongly. Worth correcting: it wastes gas and scorches pans.
Very low flame on full
Blocked jets from boil-over residue, or a partially closed isolator. In cylinder kitchens, sometimes a regulator on its way out.
Igniter clicks constantly
Moisture in the switch after cleaning, or a failed burner switch. Common after someone has washed the hob with too much water.
Gas smell around the hob
Perished flexible hose or a loose union. Turn off the supply and call — do not use the stove until it has been checked.

Gas Stove Repair Dubai — what actually goes wrong
Stove or cooker — and why it matters here
People use the words interchangeably, but the repairs differ. A stove or hob is the burner surface alone, so faults are almost always ignition, jets, taps or gas supply. A cooker adds an oven, which brings thermostats, oven burners, door seals and fan systems into play. Telling us which you have when you call means we bring the right parts first time.
Glass-top hobs need care
Ceramic and toughened-glass gas hobs are common in newer Dubai apartments. They crack from thermal shock and from over-tightening pan supports, and once cracked the whole top usually needs replacing. When we service one we clean around the burner seals properly and reseat the caps, because a badly seated cap concentrates heat in one spot on the glass.
Cylinder kitchens and regulators
Many Dubai apartments still run a cylinder in a ventilated cabinet. Regulators have a service life, and a failing one produces exactly the symptoms people blame on the stove: low flame across all burners, flames that drop when another appliance is used, or inconsistent pressure. We check the regulator and hose before condemning any burner parts.
Cleaning without causing a fault
The most common self-inflicted stove fault we attend is water in the ignition switches after an enthusiastic clean. Hobs should be wiped, not flooded, and the burner caps and crowns must go back in their correct positions — they are not always interchangeable between burner sizes. If a stove has stopped sparking right after a deep clean, dry it out for a day before assuming it is broken.

We do not publish a fixed price list, because quoting a number before
seeing the fault would be guesswork. Here is what actually moves the price, so you can
judge whether a quote you are given is fair.
Which part failedThe biggest factor. Sensors, switches, seals and elements are inexpensive. Compressors, motors and control boards are not.
Genuine or compatible partOriginal manufacturer parts cost more and last longer. Where a genuine part is discontinued we tell you and let you decide.
Home visit or workshopMost repairs finish at your home in one visit. Bench work adds collection and return, quoted up front.
Built-in or freestandingIntegrated units take longer to remove and refit correctly, which adds labour time.
Age of the applianceIf a repair would cost more than about half the price of a new unit, we tell you to replace it instead.
For stoves and hobs, an electrode, jet clean, burner cap or knob is the cheap end. An ignition module, gas tap or regulator is mid-range. A replacement glass or ceramic top is the expensive end, and at that point a new hob is often the better buy.

What is the difference between a gas stove and a gas cooker?
A stove or hob is the burner surface only. A cooker is a hob with an oven underneath. The parts and faults differ, so tell us which you have when you call and we will arrive with the right spares.
One burner does not light but the rest work — is the whole stove broken?
No. That burner's spark electrode or gas jet is the issue. It is one of the quickest and cheapest repairs we do.
My hob stopped sparking after I cleaned it.
Very likely water in the ignition switches. Leave it completely dry for twenty-four hours before deciding it has failed. If it still will not spark, the module or a switch needs replacing.
Can you fix a cracked glass hob?
A cracked ceramic or toughened-glass top normally has to be replaced rather than repaired, for safety. We can source and fit replacement tops for most common brands, and we will tell you if the cost makes replacing the hob the better option.
Do you service gas cylinders and regulators?
We check and replace flexible hoses and regulators as part of stove repair. Cylinder supply itself is handled by your gas supplier, but we will tell you if the regulator is the cause of a weak flame.
Is it safe to keep using a stove with a yellow flame?
We would not recommend it. A yellow flame means incomplete combustion, which sooties pans and produces carbon monoxide. It usually indicates blocked jets and is a straightforward fix.
